Portfolio Manager
JSM Group Services Ltd.
THE COMPANY
At JSM Group, we don't just deliver power and communication solutions — we build the infrastructure that powers the future.
Established in 1998, JSM Group is a leading specialist infrastructure engineering company delivering complex power, digital and utility infrastructure across the UK and Europe. Our projects span high-voltage power infrastructure, grid connections, data centres, renewable energy and other critical infrastructure.
As JSM continues to grow its presence in Germany and across Europe, we are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to take a leading role in shaping and delivering our growing project portfolio.
THE TEAM
Our German and European business is entering an exciting phase of growth. The Portfolio Manager will work closely with senior leadership, Project Managers, Commercial and Finance teams, as well as colleagues across our UK and European operations.
You will play a key role in building the structure, governance and capabilities needed to support JSM's continued growth in Germany and the wider European market.
SCOPE OF ROLE
As Portfolio Manager – Germany & EU, you will take overall responsibility for JSM's German and wider European project portfolio, covering high-voltage power infrastructure, data centres, renewable energy, grid connections and other critical infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide senior-level oversight across multiple complex projects, driving delivery, commercial and financial performance while helping shape JSM's long-term German and European delivery strategy.
This is a strategic leadership role for someone who can operate at both portfolio and project level, identify risks and opportunities early, and create the structure needed to support a growing organisation.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED
You will succeed in this role if you can combine strategic thinking with strong delivery and commercial focus. JSM Germany is growing, and we are looking for someone who can help shape the portfolio rather than simply manage an established structure.
You'll bring:
Strategic thinking – you understand how individual projects contribute to the wider business strategy and can translate this into clear portfolio priorities.
Commercial focus – you understand that successful delivery means achieving strong financial and commercial outcomes as well as completing projects successfully.
Leadership – you create accountability, provide direction and enable Project Managers and delivery teams to perform at their best.
Client focus – you build trusted senior relationships and understand how strong client partnerships can create long-term business opportunities.
Delivery mindset – you are comfortable making decisions, solving problems and taking ownership when projects face challenges.
Entrepreneurial approach – you enjoy working in a growing organisation where processes and structures are still developing and where you can have a genuine influence.
International mindset – you work effectively across German, UK and European teams and are comfortable operating within an international organisation.
