Quality Manager
THE TEAM
At JSM Group, our Power Division plays a critical role in delivering complex Infrastructure
projects. Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC) are at the core of our operations. We are now
looking for a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead the way in delivering
‘right first time’ solutions across our Medium-sized Infrastructure Projects (installation
of high-voltage cable systems and substations), ensuring compliance, and continuous
improvement across our expanding portfolio of German projects.
SCOPE OF ROLE
As the Quality Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all Quality-related
matters within the Power division. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of
German legislation standards applicable to the Construction and Data Centre industry.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality
Management System (QMS), ensuring all works comply with national and international
standards. You will work closely with operational teams, contractors, clients, and
regulators, ensuring full compliance, liaising with local authorities, industry standards,
and best practices. This role involves leading a growing QAQC team, conducting audits,
and implementing strategies that drive continuous improvement. This role will be
primarily site-based with some travel across regions where JSM’s GmbH Power Division
operates.
HOW YOU`LL SUCCEED
✔ Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Project Quality Plan in
accordance with German regulations (e.g., DIN, VDE, ISO 9001) and client
specifications
✔ Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
✔ Monitor and enforce QA/QC procedures across all construction project phases,
including civil, MEP, and commissioning
✔ Liaise with local authorities, third-party certifiers, and client QA representatives to
ensure regulatory compliance.
✔ Conduct internal quality audits, site inspections, and supplier evaluations
✔ Provide quality-related training and awareness to project staff and subcontractors.
✔ Identify non-conformances, lead root cause analysis, and oversee implementation of
corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
✔ Provide quality-related training and awareness to project staff and subcontractors
✔ Maintain quality records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
✔ Collaborate with HSE and Project Management teams to ensure integrated
compliance across operations
✔ Support project handover and documentation processes in line with German and
EU quality standards
WHAT IT TAKES
A Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles preferably within the Data Centre and/or Construction sectors
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong knowledge of German building codes, regulations, and quality certifications (e.g., VDI, DIN EN ISO 9001, TÜV).
Proven experience with QA/QC systems for MEP, structural, and fit-out works
Certifications such as ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, DGQ Quality Manager, or equivalent are highly desirable
Familiarity with digital QA tools and project management systems (e.g., BIM, Aconex, Procore)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook
Strong English and German language skils, both writen and spoken (minimum B2 Level)
Proficient in AI softwares (like co-pilot)
