Project Administrator
THE TEAM
Join a growing team supporting vital operational and planning functions across power and utilities projects. As a Utility Drawings Administrator, you’ll provide crucial administrative support to ensure compliance with key regulations (including NRSWA 1991 and HSG47), helping the business deliver safe and efficient project outcomes.
SCOPE OF ROLE
This is a detail-focused administrative role working across the Planning and Operational Teams. You will be responsible for the preparation, distribution, and ongoing management of utility drawing packs (“Stats”), ensuring accurate records and accessible documentation for all project sites.
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED
📄 Utility Drawings Management
Receive and log requests for Stats packs
Source utility records from provider portals or via email
Prepare, print, bind, and distribute drawing packs as needed
Maintain accurate filing systems for all project documents
🤝 Team & Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with utility providers to ensure continued access to digital portals
Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Agents, and Supervisors to confirm drawing accuracy
Provide monthly updates on performance against KPIs
Support the wider Planning and Admin teams as required
🧩 General Administration & Compliance
Assist with documentation relating to the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991
Ensure project drawings are kept up to date and accessible to site teams
Contribute to a positive company image through consistent, reliable support
WHAT IT TAKES
✅ Skills & Experience
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Able to work methodically and remain calm under pressure
Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple requests
Strong PC skills and confident using MS Word, Excel, Outlook and internet tools
Experience working in construction, utilities, or a planning function (desirable but not essential)
Confident communicator – able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
