Operating in the power, communications, gas and water sectors, JSM is a leading utilities infrastructure business operating across the UK and overseas. We rely on an effective, high performing and compliant Subcontract supply chain to deliver our work on projects up to £60m value.

As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for a highly motivated Subcontract Administrator to join our fast-paced expanding Procurement team who will be responsible for managing the onboarding, compliance and document control process for our Subcontract supply chain.

SCOPE OF ROLE

• Compliance checking and OnBoarding new Subcontractors using specialist software
• Converting existing supply chain to meet new compliance requirements
• Obtain mandatory and relevant documents for Subcontract packages
• Assisting Project Teams in collation of all subcontract documents prior to execution.
• Ensuring approvals are in place (PTP-Permission to proceed)
• Manage the execution process via Docusign including E-filing of completed documents
• Use of Procurement software to create Subcontract PO’s in ERP system software
• Manage Subcontract database
• Produce reports for senior management
• Manage and coordinate supply chain communications as and when required

HOW YOU`LL SUCCEED

• Interdepartmental liaison including meeting attendance
• Monitor and update Subcontract database as required
• Review onboarding status if alternative route is chosen
• Various ad hoc procurement/commercial related duties as they arise
• Work effectively within the Procurement team, attending and fully engaging in meetings, discussions and strategy building
• Uphold the highest levels of administrative compliance in line with national/international regulations, JSM Policies, requirements and standards

WHAT IT TAKES

• Great experience as an administrator within Utilities infrastructure, Power or Construction related business
• Experience in Subcontract administration including familiarity of multiple construction Contract types would be advantageous
• Self-motivated but can also work in a team
• Ability to prioritize
• Analytical thinking and Problem-solving
• Ability to work under pressure
• Computer literate with programmes such as word, excel, Docusign, E-Vision etc.
• A high level of confidentiality
